Founded on the belief that employee wellbeing is a leadership and design priority rather than just a benefits line item or wellness trend, Komorebi exists to ensure people-related initiatives are created with both enterprise fluency as well as behavioral rigor.
The name Komorebi comes from the Japanese word for “sunlight filtering through the leaves” - it’s a light that changes as it moves, but always finds a way through. Our work is about designing and implementing tailored solutions to reach people for real impact on both culture and results.

I spent 20 years in HR leadership across financial services, where I learned how organizations really make people decisions. Then I moved to the other side of the table: coaching individuals through their own career and health transitions, as well as building digital wellness products and specializing in AI-enabled clinical efficiency tools.
That combination of experiences taught me something most consultants could miss: people-initatives do not fail because leaders don’t care. Initiatives don’t reach their full potential because most programs are built with either enterprise fluency or human behavior considerations - rarely both.
